SS01

Originally known as Portmore, ON, SS01 highlights the influence of Carribbean culture in Toronto and across the GTA. On May 22, 2001 Khardinal Offishall released Quest for Fire: Firestarter, Vol. 1 where he had hit single Ol' Time Killin'. Not only was he able to embody Toronto as a whole but also displayed the impact the Caribbean had on it. Although everyone may thank Drake for bridging the gap between the two it all really occurred at SS01.
