Layers exist all around us, from the makeup of our personalities to the structure of our planet. The existence of layers is what brings depth to life, both literally and figuratively. Nicole explores this element of the everyday through her art. Working predominantly with colourful acrylic materials, she creates deliberately whimsical and minimalist visuals with a bold aesthetic. Heavily influenced by her time in Japan as well as layering cues found in art, technology, science and design, we're excited to see how Nicole's style evolves over the next nine months.
